We had a great evening on Thursday at Mercedes Benz Stadium, where we hosted 71 eighth-grade band students for middle school night! Our Hornets football team kicked off the season with a strong win against Walton. Go Hornets!

SYDNEY GODOY'S AHG STARS & STRIPES PROJECT FUNDRAISER
Please see Sydney's message below regarding her project:
My name is Sydney Godoy and I am a senior. I have been a part of the Roswell High School band program and marching band since 9th grade. I have also been a member of the American Heritage Girls (AHG) Scout Troop GA1412 for the last 13 years.
I am currently working on my AHG Stars & Stripes Award, the highest and most prestigious achievement a scout can earn in the AHG program. Stars & Stripes is comparable to the Eagle Scout rank in Scouts BSA.
For my AHG Stars & Stripes project, I am building wooden containers to store the Roswell High School cymbals. One of the requirements of the project is to fundraise the money to buy the materials to build the containers. This is where I can use your help!

AMERIS CONCERTS CONCESSIONS - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
It’s that time of year again when the Roswell Band parents work concessions to support the band programs!
Volunteering at the concession stands at Amerisbank Amphitheatre is our largest annual fundraiser. This fast-paced work offers a fun opportunity to connect with other band parents while supporting our students. Plus, you’ll often get to enjoy some great music for free!
The concert/volunteer season runs from late April through October
Volunteer signups are currently posted through October – SIGN UP HERE
Each shift earns a $40 credit for your student's band fees account
We especially need parents willing to get a pour license through the city of Alpharetta (cost is $50 - let us know if you're interested) – APPLY FOR YOUR LICENSE HERE
You do not need to be a band parent to volunteer, but you must be 18
We ask that each family volunteers for 4 (or more) shifts over the course of the season
All volunteers need to fill out a waiver and upload it to the Ameris portal. PRINT WAIVER HERE then upload it HERE
