MARCHING BAND REGISTRATION CLOSES ON FRIDAY, 5/15!
Registration for the 2026-27 marching band season is now open. Go to roswellband.com under the My Account tab to register and pay the deposit of $225 which is due by Friday, MAY 15th.
MAY BOARD MEETING ON TUESDAY, 5/12
This month's board meeting is on Tuesday, May 12th at 7:00pm. Join us in the band room or via Zoom. We will be voting on our 2026-2027 budget and encourage all parents and guardians to attend.
The Fall 2026 spirit wear store is now open and will close on Monday, May 11 at 11:59pm. Items ordered now will be delivered during band camp in July. We will open another store once school starts but the order will not be delivered before the first home football game. Click here to order.
IMPORTANT UNIFORM INFORMATION
We will be using the same black "R" Band shirt as last year (green "R" in the center). If you are a returning band member, check to make sure you still have it or order another. New marching band students will need to buy the shirt now to make sure they have one before the first home game.
AMERIS GROUP ALCOHOL TRAINING ON TUESDAY, 5/12
There will be a required alcohol trianing class for ALL Ameris volunteers on Tuesday, May 12 from 6-7:30pm in the RHS Band Room.
AMERIS CONCERTS CONCESSIONS - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
It’s that time of year again when the Roswell Band parents prepare to put on that incredibly attractive red polyester shirt and work concessions to support the band programs!
Returning parents may already be aware that volunteering at the concession stands at Amerisbank Amphitheatre is our largest annual fundraiser. This fast-paced work offers a fun opportunity to connect with other band parents while supporting our students. Plus, you’ll often get to enjoy some great music for free! We hope you’ll consider volunteering for a few shifts this year.
The concert/volunteer season runs from late April through October
Volunteer signups are currently posted through June (check back regularly as new concerts are added) – SIGN UP HERE
Each shift earns a $40 credit for your student's band fees account
We especially need parents willing to get a pour license through the city of Alpharetta (cost is $50 - let us know if you're interested) – APPLY FOR YOUR LICENSE HERE
You do not need to be a band parent to volunteer, but you must be 18
A mandatory volunteer training for safe alcohol service will be held at RHS on May 12 (details coming soon!)
We ask that each family volunteers for 4 (or more) shifts over the course of the season

UNIVERSAL TRIP WORKSHOP - THE LORAX FINAL CUT VIDEO LINK
This is the final version of the video created by the students at the Universal workshop. All the music, lyrics, voiceovers, and sound effects were done by the students, with the snoring sounds provided by Mr. Roberts.
CALLING ALL ELKINS POINTE ALUMNI & HIGH SCHOOL MUSICIANS!
The Elkins Pointe MS Band wishes to invite you to perform with the 8th grade band at their Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 12 at 6pm. They would be delighted to have alumni attend and perform but want to open the opportunity to all Roswell Band members (even if you went to another middle school). Please practice Jungle Dance (a middle school band classic in the area) and wear your R Band shirt!
