Please send a baby photo (under 2 yrs old) and a senior photo (does not have to be your formal one) to Lori Roselli at lbroselli@yahoo.com or president@roswellband.com. Include the student’s name in the subject line. This is needed as soon as possible but no later than April 30 for the senior slideshow!
We’re taking a senior class photo before the Spring concert on Tuesday, May 5. Your call time is 6 pm on the stage in the auditorium, dressed for the picture. Remember, you don’t have to wear your band dress or tux.
IRELAND BAND TRIP PORTAL IS NOW OPEN!
We are all set for families to register on the trip portal with our tour company, Music Celebrations International (MCI). Please note that the total cost may fluctuate slightly between now and our travel dates.
Create your account and register each traveler as soon as possible. The first payment is due on May 1st, and registration is required to make the payment.

BAND YARD SALE ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29!
Attention Seniors, or anyone with extra band stuff, we will be holding a Band Merch Yard Sale on Wednesday, April 29 during the band mini camp and parents' meeting.
Things to sell:
– Roswell Band shirts, sweatshirts, hats, and any other swag
Please ensure all items are CLEAN and in EXCELLENT condition. You decide what we do with your items if they don't sell (returned to you or donated).
We will tag your items and track your sales. You can receive your funds via cash, Zelle, PayPal, or we can credit your MTK account.
50% of proceeds will be donated to RHS bands, the rest of funds will be returned to you.

BAND BANQUET RSVP & PAYMENT LINK
The band banquet will be held on Monday, May 11 at 6pm in the RHS cafeteria. This event is for all of our current classroom band, marching band, and guard students and their immediate families.
Use the link HERE to pay for your banquet meals which will also serve as your RSVP for the event. The link will close at 11:59pm on Thursday, May 7th so that we can get our final numbers to the caterer. The cost of the band student's meal is covered by the RHS Band Boosters. Please only pay for additional family members.
AMERIS GROUP ALCOHOL TRAINING ON TUESDAY, 5/12
There will be a required alcohol trianing class for ALL Ameris volunteers on Tuesday, May 12 from 6-7:30pm in the RHS Band Room.
AMERIS CONCERTS CONCESSIONS - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
It’s that time of year again when the Roswell Band parents prepare to put on that incredibly attractive red polyester shirt and work concessions to support the band programs!
Returning parents may already be aware that volunteering at the concession stands at Amerisbank Amphitheatre is our largest annual fundraiser. This fast-paced work offers a fun opportunity to connect with other band parents while supporting our students. Plus, you’ll often get to enjoy some great music for free! We hope you’ll consider volunteering for a few shifts this year.
The concert/volunteer season runs from late April through October
Volunteer signups are currently posted through June (check back regularly as new concerts are added) – SIGN UP HERE
Each shift earns a $40 credit for your student's band fees account
We especially need parents willing to get a pour license through the city of Alpharetta (cost is $50 - let us know if you're interested) – APPLY FOR YOUR LICENSE HERE
You do not need to be a band parent to volunteer, but you must be 18
A mandatory volunteer training for safe alcohol service will be held at RHS on May 12 (details coming soon!)
We ask that each family volunteers for 4 (or more) shifts over the course of the season

CALLING ALL ELKINS POINTE ALUMNI & HIGH SCHOOL MUSICIANS!
The Elkins Pointe MS Band wishes to invite you to perform with the 8th grade band at their Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 12 at 6pm. They would be delighted to have alumni attend and perform but want to open the opportunity to all Roswell Band members (even if you went to another middle school). Please practice Jungle Dance (a middle school band classic in the area) and wear your R Band shirt!
