2026 NORTH GEORGIA MARCHING BAND COMPETITION
This past Saturday the band competed at the North Georgia Marching Band Competition at South Forsyth High School in Cumming. This competition had a prelims/finals format so the band performed twice. The full videos of both our Prelim & Finals performances can be watched on SmugMug HERE.
Congratulations to senior Sydney Godoy on winning first place Drum Major in our class!
After our prelim performance, we jumped on the buses and raced to Lanier High School to surprise, and cheer loud and proud for Roswell Cheer at their own competition where they won first place! Go Hornets!!

SEEKING PARENTS FOR BOARD POSITIONS!
We have upcoming openings for a Co-President and Vice President of Logistics as Amy Kingry and Kevin Spanier‘s terms are coming to an end in December. The Co-President position will ideally be filled by a sophomore parent for a two-year term. Under the direction of current Co-President, Lori Roselli, you will oversee the Band Booster Association.
The Vice President of Logistics position will also ideally be taken by a sophomore parent for a two-year term. Kevin Spanier and Lou Roselli will provide direction for this position as they have both held it in recent years.

COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR BINGO & CAR SHOW
Help the band prepare for 2 exciting new fundraising events coming up in 2027! We hope these events will replace the need for us to work at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre next year, but we need many hands & ideas to make that happen!
Bingo Night will be held Saturday, February 6 in the RHS cafeteria; and our Chloe's Auto Car & Bike Show is scheduled for Sunday, April 18 in the main parking lot. For each event, we need a committee of 5-6 people to help with:

CLASSROOM BAND FEES DUE NOW!
It's that time of year to pay for classroom band fees! There’s a “classroom band registration link“ on each student's MTK account. That’s where the classroom band fee of $75 can be paid. These fees go towards repairing instruments, paying sectional teachers, LGPE fees, purchasing concert music, and much more.
