Leading up to LGPE, Symphonic Band (2nd & 4th period students) will have before school rehearsal on Thursday, February 26 and Tuesday, March 3 at 7:45 am. These rehearsal are mandatory so please plan accordingly.
2026 ORLANDO FINE ARTS TRIP T-SHIRT ORDER
T-shirts for the fine arts trip to Orlando are now available for purchase. They are $10 and the deadline to purchase is 11:59 pm on Thursday, March 5th. Students will all wear the t-shirts during the workshop.
An anonymous band family has made a generous donation to provide some limited travel assistance to band students in financial need for the Ireland trip. Applications for the scholarships are due by Friday, March 6. The link to the application is below.
FINE ARTS ORLANDO TRIP MANDATORY MEETING ON TUESDAY, 3/10
There will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting for everyone going on the Fine Arts trip to Orlando. The meeting will be held in the RHS auditorium on Tuesday, March 10th at 6:30pm.
2026 M.A.R.C.H. FUNDRAISER DAY OF SERVICE ON 3/14
M.A.R.C.H (Musicians Acting with Responsibility, Compassion, and Hard Work) is our annual fundraiser for all RHS Band programs, including classroom bands, marching band, color guard, and indoor percussion.
100% of the funds raised will go directly to our band program to support additional specialist staff, competition fees, transportation, driver for equipment trailer, classroom fees, repair and replacement of equipment, props for shows, and more!
Our goal is for each student to raise at least $300 and our overall goal this year is $10,000!
This year's day of service will be on Saturday, March 14 from 9am-12pm at Roswell Area Park. Sign up to participate, chaperone or donate breakfast items HERE.
2ND ANNUAL BAND JAM ON THURSDAY, 3/19
Join us for our 2nd annual Band Jam on Thursday, March 19th. This event is a wonderful celebration of the activities that occur in our cluster during the winter and early spring band season! All band students are required to participate in this event. We will also have performances from Crabapple and Elkins Pointe Middle school.

BRIAN MCDONALD SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Eligible seniors from Marching Band and Guard may pick up an application for the Brian McDonald Scholarship from Mr. Robert’s office. Applications must be complete and submitted by the end of the school day on April 3, without exceptions. A box will be provided in Mr. Robert’s office for submissions.
Eligibility Requirements: 2026 graduating Senior Minimum 2 years of RHS Marching Band Attending a 4 yr, 2 yr, or technical school
