Registration for Roswell Indoor Percussion (RIP) has been extended. Log in to your MTK account to register. Deadline for registration is Friday, December 5. All future dates for rehearsals & shows are now on the band calendar.
THE HORNETS MOVE ON TO ROUND 4 OF THE STATE PLAYOFFS!
The Hornets secured another playoff game spot with their win against Sequoyah! The fourth round playoff will be against Thomas County Central High School with the date and time to be determined.
CLASSROOM BAND ORNAMENT EXCHANGE
Attention all band students, please bring an ornament to decorate the classroom tree! On the last day of the semester (December 19th), before the winter break, you will take home a different ornament.
DECEMBER BOARD MEETING ON TUESDAY, 12/9
This month's board meeting is on Tuesday, December 9th at 7:00pm at Amy Kingry's house (255 Hollyberry Court). We will be welcoming the new board members and celebrating the graduation of others. Please bring a small appetizer to share.
You can also join us via Zoom. The band program is always active and we encourage all parents and guardians to attend.
We need 2 to 3 volunteers to take over the Band Concession Stand operations. This is a crucial fundraiser that directly helps keep band fees low for all members.
By dividing the workload, it becomes much more manageable—and your help makes a big impact! Please consider volunteering your time and skills to support the Band program. If you're interested or have questions, reach out to president@roswellband.com.
