INDOOR PERCUSSION INTEREST MEETING ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 27
There will be a Roswell Indoor Percussion (RIP) interest meeting on Monday, 10/27 at 5 pm in the Roswell band room. Anyone interested in joining this group should plan to attend. Your parents/guardians should be there as well. At this meeting there will be a lot of information given out including the rehearsal and competition schedule for the season.
We will have a trunk or treat after marching band rehearsal on Thursday, 10/30 in the RHS Band parking lot. Students can dress in tasteful costumes for practice and decorate their cars.

SENIOR NIGHT INFORMATION!
Senior night is this Friday, 10/31. The seniors will be recognized before the football game. Senior parents: please arrive at the band room by 5:20pm to enjoy dessert with your student. More details can be found in the email from Lindsey Slack which was sent out this morning (10/26).
Underclass families: we still have a few volunteer spots to be filled for game day events. Please sign up & help us make this a great night for our senior families!
RNE FOUNDATION AUCTION WINNER VICTORIA COFFMAN
This past Wednesday, 10/22, some of our marching band students played in morning carpool line at Roswell North Elementary. They also played "Happy Birthday" to Victoria Coffman, the foundation auction winner.

A big thank you to the 8th & 11th grade families for sponsoring this past Friday's pre-game meal. The students enjoyed the BBQ sandwiches and sides and everyone was ready to cheer on the Hornets to victory against Gainesville!
And, another big thank you to the Fazio family for sponsoring the pre-competition meal for our last comp on Saturday. The band did amazing at The Conquest 2025!
THE ROSWELL HORNETS HAVE SECURED A PLAYOFF GAME SPOT!
With a win against Gainesville on Friday, the Hornets secured a playoff game spot! The first round playoff will be on Friday, November 14.
Our 3rd Annual Rock-A-Thon will be held on Saturday, November 8 from 12-9pm. This is a fun day where all of our students will gather in the band room with a rocking chair and "rock" the day away to raise money for the band. Students will be given pledge forms after the Fall Break. We are asking each student to collect pledges of at least $150 total.
Honeybaked Ham will give the band 20% of all funds collected on gift card sales. We are asking all of you to share the link or flyer with your friends, family, coworkers, on social media, via email or text. If family or friends usually purchase ham, turkey or sides from Honeybaked Ham for the holidays, encourage them to purchase a gift card through the link to use for their purchase. This costs nothing to the purchaser. If a $50 gift card is purchased, it costs the purchaser $50 and the band will get $10 from Honeybaked Ham. Our goal is to raise $2000. These funds will benefit ALL band students and be used for instrument repair, sectional coaches, the end of year banquet, and much more.
We need 2 to 3 volunteers to take over the Band Concession Stand operations. This is a crucial fundraiser that directly helps keep band fees low for all members.
