The RHS Band Boosters will be offering memberships this year. See the graphic above for pricing and perks included such as free tickets & parking to home football games. Deadline to purchase is Friday, August 8 in order to get the football passes from Mr. Sutter in time for the first home game.
Maura Roberts will be at school on Thursday, August 7th at 4pm during band practice to take individual pictures of the underclass band students in their uniforms for parents to purchase. Please send your student with the order form and payment on 8/7 if you wish to order pictures of your student. Only students with order forms and payments will have their picture taken.
The band spirit wear store is open once again (see 7/30 email from Lori Roselli & Colleen Spanier for details) and will close on Monday, August 11 at 11:59pm.

PHOTOGRAPHER NEEDED!
We need a photographer for games and competitions. You don’t have to be at every game/competition and you don’t have to be a professional (or own fancy equipment), but if you like to take pictures, we would appreciate it.
Signing up is easy! There is a volunteer spot for a photographer for every football game and competition in Membership Toolkit. And, photos can easily be uploaded to the Band's SmugMug account.
FINAL MEMBERSHIP TOOLKIT TRAINING SESSION
Stephanie Dersnah will be hosting one more MTK training session via Zoom for new or returning band parents who want to learn how to navigate the website better. All parents & students need to be set up in MTK in order to get the latest info on required forms, upcoming events, fundraising activities, volunteer opportunities, and much more. AMERIS CONCERT CONCESSIONS - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The season is in full swing but volunteers are still needed! The proceeds from Ameris ensure that we have funds for all the staff needed for Marching Band and the start of the school year.
SIGN UP TODAY at Ameris Concert Volunteer Sign Up. Once you've signed up, you must download & fill out the waiver which can be found here. All volunteers have to fill out a new waiver for the 2025 season. Completed waivers can be sent to Marcia Godoy.
Parents - this is our single largest fundraising event every Summer. We need all of our parents, older siblings, and even friends of the family to sign up to volunteer to manage concessions at concerts at Ameris. You will get to hear some great live music, raise money for the band, and also earn some credits toward your student's band fees for 2025-2026.

VP of Fundraising:
Fundraising is critical to our band program. Fulton County Schools funds only about 30% of our program each year. Most of the funds we need to support additional class instruction, resources for marching band, indoor percussion and guard are funded by fees and donations received through our fundraising efforts. We need 1 or 2 parents who can take the lead on overseeing and growing these events. This is a position that can largely be managed from home but will require an hour or two each week to ensure success.
This board position would allow you to participate in the larger board voting and decision-making process and help drive the vision of the program as it continues to grow.
