HOME FOOTBALL GAME FRIDAY 10/4 vs JOHNS CREEK HS

It’s Homecoming at RHS with another home game this Friday 10/4 against John’s Creek HS. Hopefully the students are feeling familiar with the after school schedule of dinner and a show, more details will come from Director Robert‘s TWIB email.

Band Parents are needed for the game

We need volunteers...you may be feeling run down after the weeks of home games we had early in the season and now with competition season beginning seams like the boosters don’t stop asking for volunteers. But the band, your kids, simply cannot be successful without parent involvement. There are two more home games this football season which are also fundraisers for the band with the collection of parking funds and the visitor concession stand sales, let’s rally and finish strong to share the work among many. We love our hard working band parents! You may have a talent that would fill a need with the band. Check the SIGN UP HERE!

YOUTH DAY PARADE SATURDAY 10/5

The City of Roswell is hosting the 74th Youth Day Celebration Saturday beginning with the Frances McGahee parade. Roswell band and Centennial band will combine to march together for the event. Schedule to be provided by Mr Robert’s TWIB email. Volunteers can Sign Up Here. Current need is for pit crew, videographer & candy donations to hand out during parade.

RHS SWEEPS AT LAKE LANIER TOURNAMENT OF BANDS COMPETITION

Congratulations to the marching band for the straight superiors given in all Captions for their performance Saturday at the Lake Lanier Tournament of Bands at Chestatee HS. The band was awarded First place for Drum Major, Color Guard, Percussion & Band in Class AA and the Silver Class (class A & AA) which earned them the Silver Class Grand Champions!! We are so proud of the kids and their tremendous amount of work that was displayed in their performance. And much appreciation to the parents that volunteered to help our band begin with a successful competition season.

AMERIS CONCERT SEASON WRAPPING UP
