Our biggest annual fundraiser is live now! Spring Break is a great time to reach out to friends and family to ask for donations. We are asking for each student to set a goal of $300 to help us reach our overall goal of $15,000. In addition, this Saturday, April 13th is our M.A.R.C.H day of service from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. A sign up has been created in MTK to participate for the community service. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday morning at the band room! Breakfast, snacks and waters/sports drinks will be provide. Be on the lookout for an email later this week for more details.
Our 2nd spirit night at Doodle Pies will take place on Tuesday, April 9th. Stop by before 8pm and pick up dinner or dessert. A portion of all sales will go to support our band programs. AMERIS CONCERTS VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ARE BACK
Ameris Concerts are Back!
Spring means the start of concerts at Ameris. This was a huge success for us last year but we need all parents to help. Go to our signup genius and sign up to work concessions for one or more concerts this season. You will get to see a concert for free while earning money for the band. In addition, you will earn a credit of $40 applied to your students account for each show you volunteer at. This is a great way to help cover upcoming marching band fees!
Note that start times are start of show (volunteer shifts begin 2 hours prior):
Our spring mini-camps will kick off on Tuesday, April 9th. These mini camps are a way to help our rising 9th graders as well as any classroom band students interested in marching band learn what marching band and color guard are all about. Our older students will attend to assist. Mini-Camps will start @ 4:15pm to 5:30pm. Additionally, we will have a parents meeting on Tuesday, April 30th @ 5:30pm for all parents and students participating in the fall.

PROJECT TUBA ROOM
In February, as his Eagle Scout project, Senior tuba player, Will Forrester led a team of youth and adults in installing 4 sousaphone hooks and building 2 concert tuba rolling racks in the Band’s tuba room. On Thursday, March 28, Will sat for his Eagle Scout Board of Review and became Eagle Scout #206 in Troop 431. Congratulations, Will! We are so proud of you and your accomplishment!
