Color Guard Technician

In addition to working at Roswell High School, I am a full time counselor at Walton High School, and a colorguard instructor with Kennesaw State University’s Marching Owls.

I was a Cobb county student and graduated from Hillgrove High School in 2016. I was a part of Hillgroves marching band, playing trumpet, and winterguard for four years until graduating and going to college at Jacksonville State University. My two years at JSU, I marched trumpet with the JSU Marching Southerners performing in a group of well over 400 people. After a terrible tornado incident in 2018, I transferred and then graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Before going on to complete my masters, I worked with Josh Roberts at Whitewater high school in 2019 serving as a color guard tech for their fall season. I went on to complete my masters at the University of San Diego, California in May of 2022. While in California I was the colorguard director at El Capitan High School in Lakeside, CA for two years and facilitated their fall guard and winter guard.

Outside of teaching and counseling, I am a member of Reverie Independent Winterguard, and have been active with the organization for the past four years.

I am very excited to start my time with the RHS Band program and grow with such an amazing program!
